Should Swiss AI-companies react to the EU AI Act’s Transparency rules (officially live from 2 Aug)?
Shortest answer – YES, if your business serves any AI-generated content to customers, partners, employees or just random users from the EU.
AI-generated job description? Mark it! AI-generated blog post? Mark it! AI-generated photo of people gathering in your office? Mark it!
💵 Labeling costs you nothing, and mitigates the risk of getting a fine of up to €15 million or 3% of total worldwide annual turnover for the preceding financial year, whichever amount is higher. For SMEs and startups, authorities will scale the penalty proportionally.
🏷️ Label all AI-generated content (even texts!) clearly and visibly. Use official EU AI Icons designed for this purpose, and add a notice in a user language.

🖼️ If you generate images or videos with assistants like ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini – you must add EU-compliant watermark on them as well. The branded watermark of the AI-platform is not accepted by EU AI Act.

Post only illustrations of unicorns and dragons – and you are compliant.
